It is a great crossbow package without spending too much. For the price of $299, it offers everything you need in a great bow. Othe Killer Instinct crossbow like Killer Burner 415, or Boss 405 is slightly more expensive than Litha 405. Why it is so papular? We tested this crossbow package on the hog hunt in Texas and we can vouch for it. Killer Instinct 405 is a budget crossbow. Killer instinct SWAT XP is bigger, faster, and more precise with a price tag of $949.99. ![]() It can be adjusted at speeds between 270 fps to 450 fps. Lumix Speed Ring 1.5-5x32 IR-E Crossbow Scope is high-performance scope. It offers an elite package that is stacked with awesome accessories. SWAT XP is more expensive and is considered a higher-end crossbow from the brand. These two crossbows are the best sellers from Killer instinct. Killer Instinct crossbows also provide a 1-year limited warranty that covers faulty parts, components, or workmanship issues. It offers 90 days of purchase protection against manufacturer defects. They can be effortlessly assembled, adjusted, and manufactured with silencers. It is because they manage to manufacture all the products with technical enhancements and systematic accessories. Desperately seeking an answer.Killer instinct is a famous brand among hunters. The animals I hunt deserve that respect at the very least. I know what I can do with gun/bow and I stay in those limits. I know my limits and stick to them with absolute positive 0% deviation. Me and Mable will not and do not like missing and if a bow could talk she would tell you it just doesn't happen. Maybe I can tune it ? Please give me some advice. The arrow (three different brands) doesn't sit in the rail either. I put it under my tire when to my truck, started said truck and, well let's just say I didn't want to buy a tire needlessly. If you're a hunter prepare to spew your dinner up. ![]() I'll post a picture of the last one missed. I go tree bound and (I'm going to try to remain calm here) it's like someone from PETA made it. Sight in on the ground and it's a tack stackin' accurate as hell XBow. I have a Lethal 405 and I went to a good arrow at 400gpi and it's friggin horrific. I know this is an older thread but hot shit you are spot on. ![]() Out of adjustment it can allow a loaded arrow to slide when handled and in turn be a dry fire waiting to happen. Lastly is the very flimsy "finger style" arrow retainer which is style that is notorious for needing adjustment. Other observations is that the quiver is also less than ideal with a parallel mount vs side mount. In the case of the 405 it's the light weight arrows are too lightweight to hunt with IMO and when you step up to a 400 gn or heavier arrow the scopes hold-over reticle setup is almost useless.Īlso the most "economical" crossbows lack a CNC aluminum rail as does the 405. Just to set a baseline on optics, almost all $200-$300 xbows will come with marginal scope that is setup for the factory arrow. This xbow is a "special" right now so I spent a few minutes with it to see how it stacks up and that's why I commented in this thread. I do crossbow ProStaff work at several of the local major outdoor suppliers every fall so I see their products, assemble most of the new xbows, get to shoot them and get reviews from their staff. My comments are based on first hand experience with the 405.
